PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Queiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Neville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Queiros comes to the cage accompanied by Arrastando o teu Cadáver. Barry Neville will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neville fails to land with a series of punches.
Neville tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Queiros was well out of range. Poor timing from Neville.
Neville misses with a takedown attempt - Queiros sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Neville lands with a slapping head kick.
Queiros wants to clinch.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Queiros manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Neville on his heels. He'll look to pass Neville's guard now, I'm sure.
