The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whiteman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Whiteman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Whiteman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ferreira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Whiteman is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Whiteman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ferreira misses with a double jab.
Ferreira shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Whiteman eats them both and turns towards Ferreira to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Thresh Whiteman has been cut.
Ferreira missing with a left hand there. Whiteman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ferreira walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Whiteman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ferreira swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Whiteman's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
