Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mack Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viavao Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaho is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Joey B - Tonga (Feat. Sarkodie) . Viavao Kaho is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mack Daddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viavao Kaho!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaho shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daddy defends it nicely.
Kaho shoots in for a takedown but Daddy shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed right hand from Daddy misses the target.
Kaho tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Daddy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kaho takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fighters circle momentarily. Daddy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Daddy loads up on a big right hand but Kaho slips the punch.
Daddy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kaho has time to react.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaho dives in for a single leg takedown but Daddy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mack Daddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viavao Kaho.
Kaho's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daddy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kaho scrambles back to his feet.
Daddy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kaho eats them both and turns towards Daddy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daddy falls off balance throwing a combination

so Kaho counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Daddy wants to get back to his feet but Kaho is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kaho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daddy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daddy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaho on the ground.
Kaho trying to control the position from guard on top but Daddy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kaho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kaho prevents Daddy from getting back to his feet.
Kaho trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kaho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kaho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kaho trying to control but Daddy is working from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mack Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Daddy just misses with a punch to the body.
Daddy looks to throw the jab but Kaho is out of range.
Kaho drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Daddy defends it well.
Daddy misses with a straight right.
Daddy stuffs the takedown.
Daddy with a nice cross.
Daddy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Daddy misses with a straight right.
Daddy lands with a hook. Kaho tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Daddy misses with a straight left.
Daddy throws an overhand right that lands on Kaho's shoulder, as Kaho tries to avoid the shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaho.
Daddy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Daddy throws a series of punches but Kaho moves out of range.

Kaho shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Daddy is trying to defend but Kaho finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kaho is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daddy sees it coming and defends easily.
Daddy is trying to stand.

Kaho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kaho wants to work for an arm triangle but Daddy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Daddy is refusing to be controlled, as Kaho sits in half guard.

Kaho is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Daddy is in trouble now - Kaho has advanced to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mack Daddy dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kaho closes the distance and clinches up with Daddy, looking for a takedown. Kaho pushes Daddy against the cage but Daddy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Daddy looks to land a left hand but Kaho moved out of range nicely.
Kaho changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kaho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daddy's waist but Daddy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaho off to one side.
Kaho takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kaho.
Kaho tries to advance to mount but Daddy denies him.
Daddy is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Daddy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kaho has an Americana. Daddy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kaho is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kaho hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
