Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theiles shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nuts's guard.
Theiles wants to control from the top but Nuts keeps moving.
Theiles drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nuts dives on top into guard.
Nuts scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Nuts scoring with punches to the head and body.
Nuts has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Theiles is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Theiles looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nuts is defending well. Theiles quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nuts has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Theiles celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Azogo Theiles!
After winning the bout, Azogo Theiles thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
