Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benny Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liana Pirosin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liana Pirosin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benny Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Liana Pirosin!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pirosin pushes Bishop up against the cage in a clinch.
Bishop has a couple of punches blocked by Pirosin.
Bishop misses with some punches.
Pirosin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bishop has him pressed against the cage.
Pirosin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bishop gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bishop not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bishop is pushing down on Pirosin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pirosin is fighting to maintain full guard but Bishop has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bishop is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pirosin defends it well.
Bishop is keen to just control but Pirosin is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bishop is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pirosin is just riding it out for now. Bishop eventually gives up the hold.

Pirosin is trying to maintain the position but Bishop is very close to passing his half guard.

Bishop working over Pirosin with some ground and pound. Pirosin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bishop tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pirosin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Pirosin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bishop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pirosin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily.

Bishop maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pirosin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bishop has cracked it and Pirosin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bishop!
