Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Orange Goblin!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goblin lands a two punch combo.
Goblin throws a left and a right that both miss

and Nahas counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nahas stands and throws Goblin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Nahas stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nahas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Goblin.
Nahas tries to clinch but Goblin moves out of range.

Nahas scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nahas connects with a nice short shot to Goblin's temple.

Nahas is working for a kimura but Goblin is defending it quite comfortably.

Nahas escapes and gets back to his feet.

Nahas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Goblin manages to circle out of the way.
Nahas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Orange Goblin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goblin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nahas.
Nahas slips a jab and a cross from Goblin.
Goblin throws a series of punches but Nahas moves out of range.

and Nahas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Goblin's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goblin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nahas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nahas lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Nahas content to control rather than advance.

It looked like Nahas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nahas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goblin pinned against the cage. Goblin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goblin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nahas seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Goblin for as long as he can get away with.

Nahas works to advance to full mount. Goblin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Nahas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Nahas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Goblin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nahas looks up at the clock and then as Goblin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nahas smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nahas is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Goblin's shoulder. That is not cool.

Goblin tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Goblin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Nahas is cranking Goblin's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Goblin! He's tightened the choke and Goblin is tapping out!
