Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myron Ayala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Spandex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spandex closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ayala quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spandex tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ayala knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Spandex is thwarting Ayala's attempts to control the position.
Ayala wants to get back to his feet.

Spandex bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
