The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Sanchez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Sanchez stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.

Sanchez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
Sanchez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Diaz moves forwards but Sanchez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Diaz.
A head kick misses from Diaz.
Sanchez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sanchez lands a big right hook! Diaz looks hurt but is still standing! Sanchez lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Diaz falls down and Sanchez dives in with a huge hammer fist! Diaz's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Sanchez runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
