Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reed Hightower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dez Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Jackson gets caught napping as Hightower dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Hightower controlling him for the moment.
Hightower has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jackson dives in and grabs Hightower's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hightower pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
Jackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hightower closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the cage.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Hightower holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.

It looks like Dez Jackson has been cut.
Hightower with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Hightower jerks Jackson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jackson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hightower goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hightower because Jackson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
