Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samac fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ramirez avoids it really well and circles away.
Janko Samac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Samac shoots in looking for a takedown but Ramirez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Samac's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ramirez appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Jayson Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janko Samac.

Ramirez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Ramirez has Samac pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Samac manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Samac decides to pull guard.
Samac has momentary wrist control but Ramirez slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramirez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Samac, up you get!

Come on Ramirez - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Samac has had enough of the clinch but Ramirez keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Ramirez's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Samac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramirez looks to score with a jab to the body but Samac is just out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Samac is defended easily by Ramirez.
Ramirez stuffs the takedown attempt from Samac. Samac gets slowly back to his feet.
Ramirez throws a big counter combination but Samac scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ramirez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Samac misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ramirez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Samac's guard.

Samac dives in for a single leg takedown but Ramirez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ramirez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ramirez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Samac down.

Samac is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Samac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramirez as he jumps to the side.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jayson Ramirez.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ramirez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
