Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu looks to land a combination but Bray avoids it well.
Ryu swinging wildly here.
Bray is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ryu.
Ryu misses with a wild combination.
Ryu misses with a double jab
and Bray makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

As Ryu tries to get set, Bray tries to push him back and clinch up but Ryu manages to avoid the attempt.
Ryu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryu looks to land a combination but Bray avoids it well.

Bray tries to counter by clinching up but Ryu breaks away and moves out of range.

Bray went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Ryu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bray moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bray tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ryu manages to circle out of the way.
Ryu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bray shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ryu is trying to defend but Bray finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bray thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ryu's head.
Ryu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Bray is trying to work for a kimura but Ryu is defending well.
Ryu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ryu looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bray throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bray thows a huge punch but Ryu dodges it nicely.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bray thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ryu tries to bum rush Bray with a series of wild strikes but Bray uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ryu just misses with a punch to the body.
Bray needs to keep his hands up - Ryu had a free shot at his head there.
Bray shoots in for a takedown but Ryu shows good takedown defense.

Ryu stuns Bray with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ryu connects with a body shot that sends Bray's belly button to the back.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ryu.
Ryu misses with a series of wild punches.
Bray seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Ryu looks winded!
Ryu misses with a two punch combination.
A left and a right from Ryu both land. Nice combination.
Ryu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bray.
It appears Bray was looking to counter with a kick there.

and Bray counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bray.
Ryu is trying to break the clinch but Bray is controlling him.
Bray jumps guard but Ryu stands there with Bray around his waist. Bray gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ryu looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bray is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ryu to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jere Bray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryu blocks an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ryu has had enough of the clinch but Bray keeps him there for the moment.
Bray misses with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shogun Ryu dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bray takes one to the chin there.
Ryu misses with a series of wild punches.
Ryu lands a two punch combo.
Ryu cracks Bray with a right hand to the side of the head.

Bray is rocked!
Ryu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ryu circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Bray tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Ryu wins by KO!
