Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vyacheslav Kowalchuk !
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Atkinson misses with a body kick.
Kowalchuk takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Atkinson has Kowalchuk up against the cage in a clinch.
Atkinson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Atkinson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atkinson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kowalchuk is defending against the submission attempts here by Atkinson.
Atkinson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Atkinson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Atkinson has a takedown stuffed.
Atkinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Kowalchuk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Atkinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Atkinson clinches up against the cage.
Atkinson is trying to break free.
Atkinson breaks from the clinch.
Atkinson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kowalchuk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Atkinson is in Kowalchuk 's guard.
Kowalchuk has his foot on Atkinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Atkinson works his way back into a safe position though.
Atkinson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kowalchuk had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Atkinson defends it easily.
Atkinson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kowalchuk dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kowalchuk passes Atkinson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kowalchuk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kowalchuk is trying for a kimura here. Atkinson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kowalchuk wins by kimura!
