The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randall gets a takedown into half guard.
Randall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Weedman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Randall wants to stand and escape but instead Weedman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Weedman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Randall manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Weedman has Randall in his guard.

Weedman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Randall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Weedman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randall has managed to get both his arms back between Weedman's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Weedman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Randall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Weedman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Weedman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Randall is aware though and is defending well.
Randall connects with a couple of short punches.

Randall has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Weedman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Randall is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Weedman pulls down on the head and he's put Randall to sleep! This one is all over!
