Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rabihia Nahas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luce Bree!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bree tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nahas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bree somewhat.
Bree is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nahas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bree throws a sloppy head kick and Nahas moves out of range easily.
Nahas looks to land a combination but Bree avoids it well.

Nahas darts in and clinches Bree up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nahas manages to pull guard.
Bree trying to control but Nahas is working from the bottom.
Bree throws a big elbow that misses.

Bree wants to control from the top but Nahas keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nahas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Bree wants to stand and escape but instead Nahas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bree utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Nahas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Nahas stands up from Bree's guard - Nahas perhaps looking for a knockout.
Nahas misses with a head kick.
Bree throws a head kick that misses.
Bree is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nahas clinches.
Bree is trying to pull guard but Nahas turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bree jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nahas walks away with a smile on his face. Bree gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rabihia Nahas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luce Bree.
Bree shoots for a takedown but Nahas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nahas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bree's guard.
Bree looks winded!

Nahas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nahas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nahas works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nahas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nahas uses his free foot to push down on Bree's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bree.

Nahas content just to control the position here.
Nahas lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bree hang on?
Nahas manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bree to take his back!
Bree is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Nahas is looking for the choke from the back position but Bree is controlling his hands well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nahas slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Nahas works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Nahas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bree tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Nahas stands and throws Bree's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nahas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bree is trying to control Nahas's posture but Nahas avoids it.

Nahas decides to stand back up. Nahas steps back and let's Bree get back to his feet.

Nahas moves into the clinch.

Bree tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nahas just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nahas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bree up against the cage.
Bree is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bree is breathing heavily.
Bree is looking to control Nahas's arms but Nahas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bree has his back to the cage.
Nahas takes a knee right on the jaw!
Bree jumps guard but Nahas turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Rabihia Nahas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luce Bree.

Nahas gets control of Bree's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nahas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nahas is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bree presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Bree is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nahas is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bree to the mat. Bree regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Nahas postures up and lands a big shot to Bree's brow.
Nahas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bree can't do much from the bottom here.
Nahas advances to mount.

Nahas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Nahas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bree to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bree shrugs it off.
Nahas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nahas lands a couple of good shots and Bree has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Bree defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Nahas's arms.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Nahas's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Nahas has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bree enables Nahas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bree manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nahas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Nahas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Nahas pushes down on Bree's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nahas is taking a breather. Bree says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Nahas works his foot free and advances to mount.
Bree is trying to stand but he's just given Nahas his back.
Bree takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

I would not like to be Bree right now.
Nahas has the hooks in. Bree is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Nahas biding his time, looking for the opening.
Bree covering up well under a barage of strikes.

Nahas thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Nahas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bree can do to turn this around?

Nahas has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Bree is in real trouble here. Nahas gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Bree is tapping out! Nahas wins by rear naked choke!

After the fight, Rabihia Nahas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
