The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina fails to land the takedown.
Molina tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bryant defends well and Molina ends up having to push Bryant into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bryant looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bryant lands the left hand.
Molina doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Molina takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Jeffrey Molina has been cut.
Desean Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Molina.
Bryant ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bryant dips to his left and cracks Molina with an uppercut!
Molina slips a jab from Bryant.

Molina is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bryant will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Molina wants to control but Bryant is keeping him busy.
Molina is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bryant's shoulder. That is not cool.
Let's hope that Molina has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Molina is trying to get an arm triangle but Bryant is defending well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Molina gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bryant connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Molina goes for a double leg but Bryant avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bryant continues to drive forward.
Bryant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
An attempted straight right counter from Bryant misses the target.
Molina darts in looking for a takedown but Bryant gets double underhooks and turns Molina into the cage.
Bryant drops down looking for a counter takedown but Molina sprawls and moves away.

Molina throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bryant was covering up waiting for the punch and Molina finishes the takedown easily into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bryant is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Molina is looking to stand up but Bryant isn't so interested in that idea.
Molina wants to sweep here but Bryant controlling him for the moment.
Bryant wants to control from the top but Molina keeps moving.

Bryant lands a couple of digs.
Molina working a defensive guard but Bryant manages to pass into side control anyway.
Molina tries to improve position but can't.
Molina is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Molina is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bryant off and has taken his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Molina gets his hands free as Bryant looks to control.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Bryant thuds his right hand into Molina's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Jeffrey Molina is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Molina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bryant sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Molina somewhat.
Bryant attempts a counter takedown but Molina avoids it well and moves away.
Desean Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Molina.
BOOM! Bryant lands a beautiful left hook that drops Molina. Molina tries to recover but Bryant is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Molina lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
