Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Semmy Hightower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnar Styr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styr has chosen The song of a freeman as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Styr. That's going to slow Hightower down.
Hightower throws a combination that misses
and Styr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hightower blocks the body kick.
Hightower is looking to clinch but Styr is avoiding it.
Styr only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Hightower throws a series of punches but Styr avoids them all with ease.
Hightower lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hightower closes the distance but Styr moves to the side
and Styr counters with an inside leg kick.
Hightower throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A nice inside leg kick there by Styr. That's going to slow Hightower down.
Hightower stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Styr.
Styr defending well as Hightower loads up on a big left hand.
Semmy Hightower seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Styr has managed to clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Styr avoids the elbow strike from Hightower, against the cage.
Styr lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Styr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hightower misses with a shot to the body
and Styr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Styr.

Knees in the clinch landing for Styr.
Hightower takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hightower is breathing heavily.
Styr is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Hightower tries to break Styr's hands from around his neck, Styr unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Hightower will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.

Magnar Styr bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
