Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rab Rehab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rehab has chosen saturday nights alright for fighting as his entrance music. Rab Rehab is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Payne seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rehab does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rehab wants to get back to full guard.
Payne prevents Rehab from standing back up.
Payne wants to pass to mount but Rehab is defending the position.
Rehab is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Payne's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Payne's back!
Rehab has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Payne.
Payne wants to get back to his feet.

Rehab is working for a rear naked choke. Payne is not defending it well and Rehab has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Payne refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Payne's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rab Rehab!
After winning the bout, Rab Rehab thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
