Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Hovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hovi comes to the cage accompanied by Vesa-Matti Loiri - Armo. Hess has chosen Demiurge as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hovi - that will leave a mark!
Hovi misses with a body shot.
Hess lands a nice looking body kick.
Hess throws a head kick but Hovi moves out of range.
Hess looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hess darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hess tries to clinch up.
Hess takes a swing at Hovi's ribcage but misses.
Hovi tries to counter with a takedown but Hess is quick to defend against it.
Hovi avoids the body shot from Hess.
Hovi ducks under a wild hook from Hess.
Hess throws a leg kick but Hovi moved away.
Hess connects with a leg kick. Hovi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hess throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hovi.
Hovi wants to slow Hess down by chopping away at his legs.
Hovi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've been informed that Hess has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hovi blocks the body kick.
Hovi loads up on a big right hand but Hess slips the punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hovi moves out of range of the strikes.
Hess misses with a kick to the body.
Hovi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

It looks like Jon Hess has been cut.
An inside leg kick from Hovi misses.
Hess throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hovi connects with an inside leg kick.
A head kick misses from Hovi.
Hess misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hovi appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Hovi darts in and clinches Hess up against the cage.
Hess tries to throw a body punch but Hovi avoids it by throwing Hess back against the cage.
Hovi pushes Hess back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Hovi tries to pull guard but Hess won't allow it.
Hess swings wildly with an uppercut but Hovi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hovi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hess lands a shoulder strike.
Hovi manages to break the clinch.
Hess lands a big head kick that sends Hovi to the canvas! Hess follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
