Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Donnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omega comes to the cage accompanied by Opus A Satana. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Donnelly!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnelly throws the left hand but Omega avoids the punch easily.
Omega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Omega throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Donnelly sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Omega lands a two punch combo.
Donnelly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
An attempted straight right counter from Omega misses the target.
Omega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Donnelly manages to avoid it.
Omega throws a left and a right that both miss
and Donnelly counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Donnelly misses the shot to the body.
A left lands for Donnelly.
Omega slips a jab from Donnelly.
A little feinted left hand from Omega on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donnelly manages to work his way to half guard, despite Omega's best efforts.

Omega postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Donnelly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Omega, into his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Omega wants to stand up but Donnelly is controlling him.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Omega will probably get the nod.

Jack Omega overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Donnelly fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Omega square on the jaw! Damn, Omega is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
