Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jegor Pawlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jegor Pawlow!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pawlow.

Pawlow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bush napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pawlow throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Bush manages to get back to half guard.
Pawlow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Bush looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bush won't allow Pawlow to pass to mount.
Pawlow wants to stand up but Bush is controlling the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Pawlow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bush manages to get to full guard.

Bush looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bush wants to control but Pawlow passes easily into half guard.
Bush definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Pawlow is looking for a kimura but Bush is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pawlow to get the leverage.
Pawlow perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Pawlow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Pawlow seems to be working for a kimura but Bush defends the submission attempt.
Pawlow looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Pawlow wants to pass the guard but Bush is defending well.
Bush wants to improve his position but Pawlow is controlling well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pawlow is looking to stall here but Bush recovers full guard.
Pawlow wants to control from the top but Bush keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pawlow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pawlow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jegor Pawlow dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Donk. Bush catches Pawlow right on the button with a cross.
Pawlow wants to clinch.
Jegor Pawlow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pawlow sprawls well. Pawlow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Pawlow feints the counter takedown.
Bush shoots for a double leg takedown but Pawlow sprawls well. He's pushed Bush's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush misses with a body shot.
Bush tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pawlow paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pawlow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pawlow is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bush prevents Pawlow from improving position.
Pawlow controls the position from side control.
Let's hope that Pawlow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bush takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Pawlow scores with punches from side control.
Pawlow advances to full mount.
Pawlow landing strikes from the mount.

Pawlow is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bush has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bush!
Bush trying to control the position from guard on top but Pawlow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pawlow can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pawlow is trying to control the position but Bush postures up.
Bush trying to control but Pawlow is working from the bottom.

Pawlow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bush defends well.
Pawlow has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Bush drops back looking for a leg! Pawlow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pawlow manages to kick Bush off! Bush jumps back into Pawlow's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pawlow keeping moving, preventing Bush from controlling successfully.
Pawlow lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Pawlow wanted to stand there but Bush had control of the position.

Jegor Pawlow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Jegor Pawlow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pawlow winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
