Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergio Wade will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Rojas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergio Wade!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rojas defends it nicely.
Wade will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
It looked like Rojas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Wade holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Wade jumps guard and drags Rojas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rojas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rojas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rojas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rojas postures up in Wade's guard and throws a big left but Wade blocks it.
Rojas throws a strike but Wade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wade closes the distance and clinches up with Rojas, looking for a takedown. Wade pushes Rojas against the cage but Rojas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rojas tries for a takedown but Wade sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rojas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wade sprawls well. Wade wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rojas gets slowly back to his feet.

That's time! Rojas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

It looks like Donovan Rojas has been cut.
Wade tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rojas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wade somewhat.

Wade throws a lazy right hand but Rojas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Rojas avoids the head kick by Wade.
Rojas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rojas wants it to stay on the feet.
Wade is breathing heavily.
Wade throws a nice looking combination but Rojas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rojas seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Wade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rojas looks for a takedown but Wade sprawls well.

Rojas has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Wade works to full guard.
Wade wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Sergio Wade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sergio Wade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rojas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wade's waist but Wade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rojas off to one side.
Wade shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rojas as he avoids it easily.
As Wade tries to get set, Rojas tries to push him back and clinch up but Wade manages to avoid the attempt.

Well Wade has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
