Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Valhalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Throbing Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valhalla swinging wildly here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Valhalla. Hood does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hood fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Valhalla was covering up waiting for the punch and Hood finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hood is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Valhalla is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hood is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hood closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Valhalla did well to prevent Hood getting side control.

Hood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Valhalla's waist but Valhalla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hood off to one side.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Valhalla, as that shot connected.
Hood's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Valhalla connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hood scrambles back to his feet.

Valhalla scores with a jab. Hood acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Valhalla lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Valhalla scores with a one two! Hood had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Valhalla throws a leg kick which misses Hood's front leg but catches the back leg as Hood tries to avoid it.
Hood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hood or perhaps it was just good defense by Valhalla, which made it look bad.

Hood follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Hood throws out a counter right but Valhalla avoids it with no problem.
Hood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Valhalla pinned against the cage. Valhalla gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Valhalla throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hood on the side of the head.
Valhalla cracks Hood with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hood tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Valhalla, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
