Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy misses with a wild body shot.
Jedan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guy is trying to defend but Jedan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if Jedan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Guy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jedan is working away from the top position though.
Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jedan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jedan wants to free his trapped foot but Guy is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Guy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jedan lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jedan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guy as he jumps to the side.
Jedan walks into a stiff left hand from Guy.
Guy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Carmel Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jedan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A looping hook to the body misses from Guy. Jedan does a little dance to reset his feet.

Guy throws out a counter right but Jedan avoids it with no problem.

Guy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
