Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ada Peri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Muzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ada Peri had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ada Peri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Muzi!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muzi loads up on a big right hand but Peri slips the punch.
Peri defending well as Muzi loads up on a big left hand.

Muzi drops Peri with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Peri looks back up at him and smiles so Muzi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Ada Peri has been cut.
Peri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice takedown defense from Muzi. No joy for Peri on that attempt.
Muzi throws out a counter right but Peri avoids it with no problem.
Peri shoots in for a double leg but Muzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ada Peri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Peri ducks under a wild hook from Muzi.
Peri changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Peri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Muzi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muzi is adopting a defensive guard.

Peri wants to stand but Muzi is controlling his posture from full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Peri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muzi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Muzi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Peri scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Peri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muzi as he avoids it easily.
Carlos Muzi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Peri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Peri moves into range and clinches up with Muzi.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Peri blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Peri pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Peri throws a head kick that misses.
Peri avoids a punch combination nicely.

Peri moves into the clinch successfully.
Muzi tries to throw a body punch but Peri avoids it by throwing Muzi back against the cage.
Peri goes for a takedown in the clinch but Muzi prevents it.

Peri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Muzi sends Peri crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Muzi is motioning to the referee to let Peri up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Peri shoots in but Muzi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Muzi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peri is looking for a counter combo.

Muzi looks to land a combination but Peri avoids it well.
Peri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Muzi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Muzi lands a jab to Peri's midsection.
Peri is breathing heavily.
Muzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Peri is looking to counter the offense by Muzi and move into the clinch.
Muzi plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Peri swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Peri face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
