Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. Rickson Gracie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie throws a right hand that Martin ducks under and follows up with a left that Martin also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gracie leaves Martin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Martin's temple.

Gracie is nestled in close to Martin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Martin throws a body shot but no joy.
A clash of legs there as Gracie blocks the low kick.
Gracie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Martin sprawls and moves away.

Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.

Gracie feints and as Martin raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is looking to pass into half guard but Martin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Martin is in guard.

Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie!

Gracie moves into full mount! Martin won't be happy about that!

Martin is rocked!
Martin takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Gracie's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
