The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alistair shoots in looking for a takedown but Ratliff manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alistair's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ratliff thinks about countering with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alistair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alistair wants to clinch up but Ratliff keeps it at a distance.
Alistair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ratliff throws a big counter combination but Alistair scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Ratliff scores with a takedown into Alistair's guard.
Alistair wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ratliff is now in half guard.

Ratliff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Alistair is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Ratliff has latched onto it... Big trouble! Ratliff pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Alistair is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Ratliff!
