The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McDonald works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
McDonald lands an uppercut.

It looks like Fighter Tester has been cut.

McDonald's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tester has eaten all the pies!
Tester swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonald cracks a nice hook into Tester's ribs.
Tester looks winded!

McDonald drives through and clinches with Tester against the ropes.
McDonald lands with a short shot to the head.
McDonald lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tester.
McDonald lands a shoulder strike.
I was talking to McDonald's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

McDonald escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rory McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!

McDonald lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Tester goes down! The ref sends McDonald to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Tester is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Tester is rocked!
Tester backs away from a small jab... but McDonald lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Tester crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! McDonald with a spectacular finish!
