Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Bater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Fujikage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuo Fujikage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Bater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Katsuo Fujikage!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujikage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bater sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fujikage's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bater lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bater looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fujikage with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fujikage is staying active underneath Bater, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bater is taking a breather. Fujikage says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
