The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Wexler.
Wexler shoots in and drives through. Tate sprawls well.
Tate defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wexler.
Wexler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tate gets a clinch.
Tate is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wexler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wexler successfully pulls guard.
Wexler looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Tate is defending well. Wexler quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Tate has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wexler celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Jurgen Wexler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
