Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wintana Lone Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Olivieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lone Dog comes to the cage accompanied by March of The Dog. Olivieira has chosen POWER as his entrance music. Charles Olivieira has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charles Olivieira!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olivieira tries to keep at a distance but Lone Dog has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lone Dog's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Olivieira tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lone Dog smiles and moves away.
Olivieira has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lone Dog gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lone Dog has a couple of punches blocked by Olivieira.
Olivieira tries to circle away but Lone Dog has him pinned against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short uppercut from Lone Dog.

Lone Dog has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Olivieira is trying to keep an underhook but Lone Dog manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lone Dog decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Olivieira has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lone Dog after a bit of a struggle.

Lone Dog is trying to stand up here but Olivieira is controlling him well.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lone Dog is trying to maintain the position but Olivieira is very close to passing his half guard.

Lone Dog closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Olivieira's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Lone Dog wants to control but Olivieira is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lone Dog wants to get back to full guard.
Olivieira passes to side control.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like Olivieira might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Wintana Lone Dog will probably get the nod.

Lone Dog has managed to clinch.
Olivieira digs a right hand underneath Lone Dog's ribcage. Lone Dog let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Lone Dog pulls guard.
Lone Dog definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Olivieira stays in close to Lone Dog's body and controls the position.
More stalling from Olivieira.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Olivieira has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wintana Lone Dog is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lone Dog's jab looks to have found its range, popping Olivieira under the eye.

Lone Dog darts in and clinches Olivieira up against the cage.

Olivieira tries to circle away but Lone Dog has him pinned against the cage.

Lone Dog turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lone Dog manages to end up in side control.
Olivieira is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lone Dog is controlling him well.
Lone Dog throws an elbow but Olivieira slips to the side and avoids it well.
Olivieira is pushing Lone Dog's head away, looking to escape. Lone Dog manages to hold on to the position though.

Lone Dog has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lone Dog moves into the clinch.
Olivieira goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lone Dog prevents it.
Lone Dog lands a hook that snaps the head of Olivieira backwards.

Olivieira tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Olivieira's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Olivieira is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lone Dog to keep the fight standing.
Lone Dog lands a damaging elbow.
Olivieira has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Olivieira pulls guard effortlessly.
Lone Dog trying to control but Olivieira is working from the bottom.
Olivieira is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lone Dog is controlling him.

Olivieira pushes Lone Dog off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Wintana Lone Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Olivieira.
Olivieira tries to circle away but Lone Dog has him pinned against the cage.

Lone Dog throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Olivieira drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lone Dog is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Olivieira can do to turn this around?
Olivieira is breathing heavily.
Lone Dog lands a right hand that snaps the head of Olivieira backwards.

Lone Dog tries to land knees in the clinch but Olivieira avoids the damage to the body.

Lone Dog turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lone Dog manages to end up in side control.
Olivieira is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Olivieira sneaks out the side door and pushes Lone Dog away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Olivieira gets tackled into the cage by Lone Dog. Lone Dog maintains the clinch.
Lone Dog has a couple of punches blocked by Olivieira.
Lone Dog lands with a short head shot on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Olivieira is looking to break free of the clinch but Lone Dog has double underhooks.
Lone Dog misses with the head strike.

Lone Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lone Dog clinches up with Olivieira and pushes him back against the cage.

Olivieira tries to land a knee to the head but Lone Dog blocks with his arms.
Olivieira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lone Dog fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lone Dog keeps control of Olivieira as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lone Dog lands an uppercut.
Olivieira swings wildly with an uppercut but Lone Dog uses good head movement to avoid it.

Olivieira has picked Lone Dog up - he's going for a ride! Olivieira dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Olivieira takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The fighters are battling for position here. Lone Dog manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Olivieira tightens his grip and picks Lone Dog up, before dumping him to the ground. Lone Dog manages to land in guard.

Olivieira is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lone Dog, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
