Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeromy Richmond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jurgen Wexler!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wexler.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richmond is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Richmond throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Richmond is trying to buck Wexler off.
Richmond prevents Wexler from moving into mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wexler lands a decent elbow from side control.

Wexler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richmond keeps working.

Wexler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Richmond is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wexler has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Wexler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Richmond's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wexler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wexler showed some decent athleticism there.
Wexler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Richmond's head.
Jurgen Wexler has got the better of the ground game so far.

Richmond is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wexler pulls his head out easily.
Wexler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Richmond does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Richmond tries to roll over but Wexler keeps him under control.
Richmond is staying active underneath Wexler, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wexler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Richmond gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Wexler drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Richmond dives on top into guard.

Wexler has his feet on Richmond's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Wexler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wexler is keen to just control but Richmond is a slippery customer.

Wexler should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Richmond is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wexler pulls his head out easily.
Wexler is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Wexler passes the guard and advances to mount!
Wexler is landing with some decent strikes but Richmond is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Wexler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Richmond takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oh Richmond is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wexler lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wexler connects with a bit shot that sees Richmond covering up! More strikes from Wexler and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wexler is our winner by TKO!

A very excited looking Jurgen Wexler rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
