And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petersen scores with a takedown into Drake's guard.
Drake wants to sweep but no luck.

Drake kicks Petersen off and gets to his feet.

Petersen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Petersen trying to control the action but Drake is working from the bottom.
Petersen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Petersen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petersen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Drake's legs.
The ground and pound from Petersen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Petersen in side control lands a decent elbow.

Petersen has hold of Drake's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Drake tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Petersen cranks the arm and Drake screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Drake, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
