The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Alkofer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in Alkofer's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alkofer's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Alkofer is just riding it out for now. King eventually gives up the hold.
King is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Alkofer quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! King has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alkofer celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
