Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Let It Burn. Trent Boyette is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson moves out of range of the body kick from Boyette.
Boyette scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fighters circling - Boyette throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boyette gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Patterson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Boyette wants to stand but Patterson is controlling the position.

Patterson stands and steps away. Boyette gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boyette stalks Patterson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Patterson's face. Patterson staggers backwards, shaken.
Patterson closes the distance and clinches up with Boyette, looking for a takedown. Patterson pushes Boyette against the cage but Boyette circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boyette as he jumps to the side.
