Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phil Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Fuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berry's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Take Me Higher. Jason Fuka acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fuka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fuka fails with a takedown attempt.
Berry lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fuka backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jason Fuka has been cut.
Fuka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Berry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Berry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Berry seems to be working for a kimura but Fuka defends the submission attempt.
Berry is tying to control. Fuka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are battling for position here. Fuka manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Berry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fuka swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Berry's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Berry is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Berry blocks the strikes from Fuka.

Berry is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Berry lands a big shot there that rocks Fuka but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The referee warns Fuka that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fuka tries to lock up and control but Berry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Berry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuka is trying desperately to improve position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Phil Berry just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Berry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Berry lands in his opponent's guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Fuka throws a head kick that misses.
Berry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fuka's waist but Fuka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Berry off to one side.
Berry swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Fuka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Berry counters with a takedown into side control.
Berry cracks Fuka with a big elbow.
Fuka is trying to escape the position but Berry is controlling the position.
Berry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Berry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Fuka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fuka is looking to reverse the position.
A control attempt from Fuka but he's now mounted!
Berry with the ground and pound from mount.
Fuka tries to control Berry's body but Berry pushes him off. Fuka squirms to his side and now Berry has his back!
Berry has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Fuka's body.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fuka rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Fuka is staying active underneath Berry, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fuka wants to control but Berry is keeping busy.
Berry moves nicely into side control.
