Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigga Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaddaeus Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thaddaeus Lane was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rich counters with a left and a right that stings Lane.
Lane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some bone on bone action there as Rich checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rich counters with a left to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rich counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Thaddaeus Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
