Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Donnithorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert May is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aidan Donnithorne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert May! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donnithorne feints and as May raises his hands in defense, Donnithorne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Donnithorne advances to half guard. Donnithorne prevents May from improving his position. Donnithorne is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
May is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Donnithorne pulls his head out easily. Donnithorne looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donnithorne is sneakily working for an arm triangle but May sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. May tries to roll over but Donnithorne keeps him under control. Donnithorne controlling the pace. May makes his way to full guard. A much better position for May. Donnithorne stands up from May's guard - Donnithorne perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. May works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. May fails in his attempt to clinch. Robert May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Donnithorne looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for May! Donnithorne tries to move into full mount but can't pass May's legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. May is trying to get back to half guard. May is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Donnithorne off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donnithorne turns into May and is now in his guard.
May looking for a guillotine here but Donnithorne defends easily.
Donnithorne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Donnithorne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Donnithorne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. May looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Donnithorne has picked May up and slammed him! May can't keep hold of the triangle and Donnithorne manages to pass to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. May tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Donnithorne presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Donnithorne stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Donnithorne shoots in and bounces May off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. May is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Donnithorne is aware though and is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. May had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Donnithorne defends it easily. May working a defensive guard here.

Donnithorne shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. May defends it nicely. Donnithorne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Donnithorne is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables May to keep the fight standing. Donnithorne has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics May uses from the top position.

We've been informed that May has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. May seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Donnithorne is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of May's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take May's back! Donnithorne looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. May is controlling Donnithorne 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. May trying to control but Donnithorne is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. May pushes down on Donnithorne's leg and manages to get into half guard. May wants to free his trapped foot but Donnithorne is holding on for dear life with his legs. Donnithorne is looking to improve his position.
Donnithorne is working hard here to advance position. Donnithorne pushes May off and gets back to his feet. May closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donnithorne throws a head kick but May moves out of range.
May jabs Donnithorne right on the nose. Donnithorne blinks but takes it well. Nice jab there from May. Donnithorne walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. May swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Donnithorne tries to move into range but May moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Donnithorne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? May is fending him off so far but Donnithorne persists. Nope, May circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aidan Donnithorne. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donnithorne drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. May throws a right and a left that Donnithorne avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. May bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Donnithorne drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! May escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donnithorne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. May wants to sweep here but Donnithorne controlling him for the moment. Donnithorne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. May is keeping the position for now. May had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Donnithorne defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert May showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Aidan Donnithorne! A very excited looking Aidan Donnithorne rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
