Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelos Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Siegward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stamatis comes into the arena with Audiomachine - Earth Shaker blaring out of the sound system. Siegward comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siegward swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stamatis.
It looks like Angelos Stamatis has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Stamatis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sebastian Siegward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Siegward shoots in for a takedown but Stamatis shows good takedown defense.
A bone on bone clash there as Siegward blocks the leg kick.
Siegward swings away with a body shot that misses
so Stamatis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Stamatis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Siegward's head.
Stamatis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Siegward is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Stamatis rolls with it to try and escape but Siegward cranks on the arm and Stamatis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
