These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hedman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hedman looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Anton Hedman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hedman misses with a looping right.
As Hedman looks to move away, Carter throws a big counter combo bu Hedman just gets out of the way.
Carter tries to clinch up.
Hedman appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Carter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hedman.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hedman.

It looks like Buck Carter has been cut.
Hedman digs a good hook to Carter's body.
Carter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hedman misses with a jab to the body
and Carter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hedman missing with a left hand there. Carter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Carter swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hedman lands with a hook. Carter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hedman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A punch lands to the side of Carter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hedman lands a nice hook to Carter's body. Carter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hedman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Hedman sends Carter crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hedman is motioning to the referee to let Carter up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Carter is rocked!

Carter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hedman.
Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Hedman circles away.
Hedman throws an overhand right that has Carter reeling! Hedman follows up with more punches and Carter is out cold! This one is all over!
