Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus shoots in and drives through. Vaughan sprawls well.

Vaughan gets tackled into the cage by Maximus. Maximus maintains the clinch.
Vaughan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A frustrated look appears on Vaughan's face as he tries to break the clinch.

It looks like Kevin Vaughan has been cut.
Maximus is looking for a takedown.
Vaughan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maximus is defending well for now.

Maximus manages to break the clinch.
Maximus tries a head kick but it misses.

Maximus stuffs the takedown attempt from Vaughan. Vaughan gets slowly back to his feet.
Dan Maximus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maximus pulls Vaughan in close to prevent any damage.
Vaughan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Vaughan is trying to control the position but Maximus postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vaughan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maximus is one step ahead there.

Maximus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Maximus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Maximus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dan Maximus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
