Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Draco Klay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klay throws a right hand that Patton ducks under and follows up with a left that Patton also avoids with ease.
Klay uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Patton.
A jab lands there for Patton.

It looks like Draco Klay has been cut.
Nice body kick from Klay.
Klay looks for the body kick but Patton saw that one coming.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Klay, as that shot connected.

Patton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Patton feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Klays jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Patton goes for a double leg but Klay avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Klay continues to drive forward.
Draco Klay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Patton.

That was a close second round but I would say that Draco Klay will probably get the nod.

Klay drops Patton with a beautiful combination! Patton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Klay is looking for the KO!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Klay engages and cracks Patton with a massive lead left hook - Patton tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Klay is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
