Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Parvati Mellia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gennaro Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gennaro Gattuso was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Mellia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gattuso wants to clinch up but Mellia keeps it at a distance.

Mellia gets caught napping as Gattuso dives in and scores a takedown. Mellia manages to retain guard.
Gattuso is in close to Mellia's body, working some short punches and elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gattuso accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gattuso won't allow Mellia to get back to his feet.

Mellia is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gattuso has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mellia is looking to defend but Gattuso has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mellia! Gattuso pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mellia taps out and this one is all over!
