The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shadow has eaten all the pies!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shadow connects with a nice short shot to Richmond's temple.
Shadow tries to stand and escape but Richmond is controlling the position.
Shadow throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Shadow seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Shadow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Shadow is going to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shadow is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Richmond manages to get to full guard.

It looks like Jeromy Richmond has been cut.
Richmond avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Shadow loads up on a big left hand. Richmond felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Shadow looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Richmond can't hide his disappointment, as Shadow celebrates the victory.
