Sean Franzen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with The Yakuza's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakuza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Franzen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Franzen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sean Franzen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Franzen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Yakuza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franzen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yakuza is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franzen striking off his back but it's not causing Yakuza any problems.
Franzen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

A close round but Sean Franzen will probably get the nod.

Franzen misses with a takedown attempt - Yakuza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Yakuza lands a big head kick that sends Franzen tumbling to the mat! Yakuza takes a step backwards and waves Franzen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Franzen is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yakuza cracks Franzen with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Franzen tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Yakuza pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Franzen is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Yakuza!
