Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yahweh Falwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agniesz Plonski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falwell comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Stop Believing. Agniesz Plonski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plonski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Falwell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

We've been hearing good reports from Falwell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Plonski is working for a kimura but Falwell is defending it quite comfortably.

The defeated Yahweh Falwell had this to say: 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
