Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Dobzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gold comes into the arena with Goldust theme blaring out of the sound system. Dobzinski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Waters Of Nazareth - Justice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold misses with a double jab.

Gold lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dobzinski circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gold working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dobzinski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dobzinski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dobzinski wants to control but Gold is keeping him busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gold tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dobzinski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Gold will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
