The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kent finds it's way round the side to connect with Sampson's head.
Sampson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kent lands the left hand.
Kent paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kent's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sampson under the eye.
Sampson walks into a straight right hand from Kent.

It looks like Rick Sampson has been cut.
Kent is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kent gets in close and tags Sampson with a short punch that almost sends Sampson to the mat! Oh Sampson is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kent, trying to create some distance but Kent rushes him, striking wildly and Sampson goes down! The referee tackles Kent into the cage to end the fight! Kent is one violent man!
