The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herczeg scores with a nice right hand.
Kilkenny slips a straight right by Herczeg.
Kilkenny stuns Herczeg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kilkenny misses with a looping left.
Kilkenny tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kilkenny throws an off balance right hand
and Herczeg cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kilkenny gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Herczeg has a couple of punches blocked by Kilkenny.

Herczeg throws a good cross that connects.

Kilkenny fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Herczeg, pushing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilkenny struggles to land a body shot inside as Herczeg controls his hands.
Kilkenny digs a right hand into Herczeg's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Herczeg's gas tank.

Kilkenny swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Herczeg lands a right hand.
Herczeg wants to get back to striking at distance but Kilkenny won't allow it.

Kilkenny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kilkenny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Herczeg.
Kilkenny's coach down at Broken Halo Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kilkenny's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kilkenny missing with a left hand there. Herczeg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kilkenny drops his hands momentarily and Herczeg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kilkenny scores with a leg kick.
Kilkenny looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kilkenny looks to land a right hand but Herczeg moved out of range.
Herczeg throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Herczeg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kilkenny cracks Herczeg with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Herczeg lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Herczeg pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Herczeg throws a sloppy head kick and Kilkenny moves out of range easily.
Kilkenny lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Herczeg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kilkenny tries a low kick but Herczeg avoids it.
Herczeg keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kilkenny.

Herczeg throws a wild body kick that Kilkenny sees coming a mile off.

and Herczeg counters with a crisp one two that drops Kilkenny! Herczeg thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kilkenny to his feet! Kilkenny is in big trouble!

and Herczeg rattles Kilkenny with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Kilkenny tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Herczeg dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Kilkenny stiff and motionless on the mat!
