The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Officer scores with a body shot.
Officer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Powell can pounce on him.
Officer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Powell.
Officer cracks Powell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Powell - that will leave a mark!
Powell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Officer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Powell.
A jab from Powell misses.
Officer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Powell looks to land a body kick but Officer moved away.
Powell cracks Officer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Officer cracks a nice hook into Powell's ribs.
Officer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A cross from Officer lands.
Jab, jab by Officer - just one landing.
Powell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Officer.
Powell throws a sloppy head kick and Officer moves out of range easily.
Powell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Officer if he has to take too many more of those.
Officer avoids the head kick by Powell.
Powell misses with a straight right.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Powell throws a leg kick but Officer sees it coming and moves out of range.
Officer thuds his right hand into Powell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Powell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Officer cracks Powell with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Powell falls to his knees and Officer doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
