Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riick Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler shoots for a double leg takedown but Pablo sprawls well. He's pushed Tyler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tyler walks into a jab.

It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut.

Tyler moves into range and clinches up with Pablo.

Tyler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Riick Pablo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler takes one on the button.
Horrible takedown attempt by Tyler or perhaps it was just good defense by Pablo, which made it look bad.
Tyler dodges the punch combination from Pablo.

Pablo lands a big shot that drops Tyler! Can he finish him?

Tyler is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tyler wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pablo is now in half guard.
Pablo is controlling the pace.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tyler is not content to let Pablo control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pablo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pablo somewhat.
Tyler throws a push kick but Pablo slaps the foot to one side.
Pablo dips to his left and cracks Tyler with an uppercut!

Tyler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pablo.

Oh Tyler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pablo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tyler seems to have got his legs back now.
Tyler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tyler tries to move into range but Pablo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Pablo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tyler eats them both and turns towards Pablo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Tyler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tyler advances to half guard.
Tyler is taking a breather. Pablo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tyler has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Pablo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tyler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Tyler clinches up with Pablo and pushes him back against the cage.

Tyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pablo tries for a takedown but Tyler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pablo can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Tyler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tyler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pablo is looking to escape.

Tyler looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyler lands a nice shot to the head.

Pablo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tyler is working for a guillotine from mount but Pablo frees his head quite easily.
Tyler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tyler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tyler lands a couple of good shots and Pablo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Tyler lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Tyler wanted to stand there but Pablo had control of the position.

Tyler stands and steps away. Pablo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Tyler is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pablo's half guard.

Tyler takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Tyler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Tyler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pablo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tyler winds up and cracks Pablo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tyler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tyler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jake Tyler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pablo is looking to escape.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tyler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pablo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
